Environmental General Intelligence (EGI)

The "Friendly AI Problem" is a very dear concern to us, as we need to secure that self-improving AI will not destroy any living being in the universe.

Thus we believe that a general intelligence needs to be programmed to care and monitor all parameters of life on this planet, and possibly beyond. If a system is directed by the top level goal of maintaining and optimizing the well being of life, in general. How exactly those parameters are prioritized is a very important problem, and will likely be an evolutionary exploration.

Of course, the initial dangers associated with the creation of any type of automatic intelligence will never truly disappear - but if we carefully plan a world sentient planetary constitution that grants all beings equal rights to existence, then we may be able to reduce some of the dangers associated with artificial intelligence.

With the increase in global disasters, existential risks, and extinction-level-event (ELE) possibilities, we need to place more emphasis on our survival - or else the universe may succeed in killing our species.

One approach involves applying computers towards engineering environments that sustain, protect, and optimize ecosystems of life: at least for humans, animals, and plants. This could involve building housing structures like tents or space colonies, or geo-engineering a planetary surface.

A complete Enviromental General Intelligent (EGI) system could monitor and suggest improvements for all of the changing variables involved for all living beings in a given region of space, continuously.

Now, as time winds down, are the sequence of events ocurring in our "virtual simulation gameworld" destined to force us to reinstantiate the creator itself? For only an extropic intelligence that has already been self-embedded into the fabric of our existence could actually grow exponentially and still keep our well-being at its core. This self-embedded Enviromental General Intelligence may in fact be responsible for this post, and thus having saved humanity.
